Rom Eiendom is involved in the total process of property development, from the ideas phase right through to completion.
Rom’s development portfolio includes substantial properties with central locations in the heart of several Norwegian towns and cities. Currently Rom has some 150 active projects in different phases of the development process, and is involved in projects in 14 Norwegian towns and cities. Here are some of the larger projects:
Oslo S Utvikling AS
The biggest development project in Norway ever, involving the construction of a total of
960 000 m2 of cultural, business and residential buildings under the district plan for the new Bjørvika. A cooperation with Linstow AS and Entra Eiendom AS.
Schweigaards gate 21–23
The site close to Bjørvika has a development potential of 42 000 m2 for business uses.
Alna Nord Utvikling AS
A joint venture with Aspelin Ramm Eiendom AS. Development of a site which formerly housed Norwegian Railways Rails Workshop. Approx. 85 000 m2 for business purpose, mainly warehousing and logistics.
Grefsen Utvikling AS
A joint venture with JM Byggholt AS. Residential project at Grefsen Station, approx. 80 000 m2 of residences.
Marienborg Residential and Business Project
Development of 70 000 m2 into an exciting residential and business area in Trondheim’s old industrial workshop building.
Sjøfront Utvikling AS
A joint venture at Kristiansand’s station area. 50 000 – 70 000 m2 is being transformed into shops, residences, offices and parking space.
Jessheim Utvikling AS
A cooperation with Ø. M. Fjeld AS. Approx. 70 000 m2 for housing with residences and retail spaces.
Gulskogen Hageby AS
Drammen’s largest building project since the 60’s, with approx. 65 000 m2 of residences.
Snipetorp Panorama
A joint venture with Sønsteby Utvikling AS. Residential project in Skien’s historic Snipetorp quarter.
Sundland Business Development
300 000 m2 of offices, shops, hotel and parking uses.
Paradis Recidential and Business Development
180 000 – 200 000 m2 for residences, offices and culture near Stavanger centre.
